“Between me and the moonlight flitted a great bat, coming and going in great whirling circles...”The lore and drama surrounding vampires has never failed to grab the attention of readers for centuries — especially when that vampire is ‘Dracula.’ However, this pattern was not inspired by bats, or blood, or fangs. We looked to the fashions of London during the time and were intrigued by pointed sleeves and detailed braiding on women’s skirts. The cozy fingerless mitts and ear warmer use a post stitch cabling design that is easy enough for most beginners and interesting enough for the more advanced.
