My First Sweater
If knitting a sweater is something you've been wanting to do this is the class for you. We will use a simple top down sweater pattern that is sized from infant to very large adult to give you the most options. In class you will learn to knit in the round, to read a pattern, and how to use markers and stitch holders. We will explore good yarn selection practices as well as the importance of swatching to ensure that your finished sweater fits well.
Requirements: | Worsted weight yarn and needles to get gauge per pattern FLAX by TinCan Knits free on Ravelry. Skill level: Students who have completed several projects. Skills needed: knit, purl, basic increases and decreases. |
