Night & Day Cowl Class - Intermediate
This class will discuss the techniques you need to create this fun and beautiful cowl designed by Andrea Mowry.This cowl is worked on the bias, blocked and seamed.It is constructed using simple slipped stitches and unique shaping. We all will be making the adult small size using DK weight yarn in order to unify the class and make instruction more efficient.
You will learn increasingby both KFBF and right and left leaning increases (M1R & M1L), I-cord Bind Off, Kitchener stitch, cable cast on method, weaving in ends, mattress stitch seaming, working with 2 yarns, and a slipped stitch pattern.
There will be two class sections: The first class will familiarize you with the pattern, including different increases, slipping, and yarn management. The second class will address the I-cord bind off, kitchener stitch, weaving in ends and seaming.

Please note: This is a two session class. The second session date will be determined during the first class in order to accommodate everyones' schedules.

If you do not have a Ravelry account you can purchase the pattern here. -DK weight yarn in 2 contrasting colors, 175 yards for each color. Make sure the yarns are comfortable to wear against your neck. -Size 6 circular needle (24 inch length), or needle size to achieve gauge. -Tapestry needle |
