Basic Top Down Cardigan Technique (Intermediate)
Join us as we learn the basics of knitting a top down cardigan on a small scale. In this 3 session class we will cover german short rows, raglan shaping, separating for sleeves, using double point needles, button bands, etc. while making an adorable baby sweater. Great class to prepare you for a larger version of a top down sweater.

| Skill Details: | Must be able to cast on, bind off, knit and purl. There will be homework between classes. |
| Requirements: | You will need to purchase, download and print the Classic Cardigan pattern by Tin Can Knits on Ravelry. Pattern requires 300 yards of a worsted weight yarn and two 32" circular needles, one in a size to achieve 4.5 sts/inch & the other 2 sizes smaller than that (we will be happy to check your gauge prior to the start of class). You will also need DPNs in both of these sizes and stitch markers. Store sample is made using Berroco Vintage Worsted. |
