You'll be doing easy garter stitch short rows.and basic lace as you work the segments that create the circle, which is joined together when completed. Great paired with a beautiful handmade soap as a special gift.

This is a supplemental class for students who have already taken the Basic Toe-Up Socks using Magic Loop (the single sock version)...now you can knit the same socks 2 at a time! In this 2-part class we will do a refresher on the cast-on technique, and then learn where to make changes to the original pattern to accommodate the heel shaping. We will be using worsted weight yarn, size 4 circular needles (40" length), stitch markers, and general knitting notions (tape measure, scissors, tapestry needle, etc).

Using a color-coded pattern, you will be learning the basics of entrelac so that you can complete a scarf, worked in one piece with variegated Noro yarn. You will be creating the basketweave effect by knitting a series of sloping "blocks" left and right. You can also learn a technique to knit backwards, a timesaving way to avoid turning your work constantly.
