Learn the technique of making a sock from the toe-up using the magic loop method (no double-pointed needles). In this 3-part class, we will be learning Judy's Magic Cast On for a seamless toe, an easy heel with no short rows or picked up stitches, and a stretchy bind off. We will be using a worsted weight wool to make the project go faster and to easily learn new techniques. You will be knitting a thicker sock that would be great to wear around the house or in boots. You will be able to take the techniques you learn to knit other socks out of more traditional sock-weight yarns.

You will be creating the basketweave effect by knitting a series of sloping "blocks" left and right.
