In this 3-part class, we will be learning Judy's Magic Cast On for a seamless toe, an easy heel with no short rows or picked up stitches, and a stretchy bind off. We will be using a worsted weight wool to make the project go faster and to easily learn new techniques.

Learn to knit entrelac, a knitting technique that produces a fabric that looks like it has been woven in strips, or a "basketweave" effect. Using a color-coded pattern, we will be knitting a scarf, worked in one piece with variegated Noro yarn, and creating the basketweave effect by knitting a series of sloping "blocks" left and right. You will also learn to knit backwards, a fun technique to avoid turning your work constantly.
